Blood bowl season 1 - goodbye with Megabowl

So I’m a big fan of blood bowl and very excited by the fact there’s a new rule set and box coming out in “holiday 2020”. We‘re moving on at our club to the new rules - but there‘s one last tournament (hopefully) to go to at the end of October. It’s a fab format of crazy fun - 4 games 2 normal and 2 sevens, with mixed teams and some secret teams allowed. What a lot of fun that‘s going to be.

After a bit of bouncing roster ideas around I’m 90% settled on a chaos renegades / skaven mixed team both teams I have but not painted. My renegades are from willy miniatures and skaven are GW and I might use a rat ogre, I’ve already printed one and might do another.

So I’ve got started - and for the first time I’ve started with one colour and then used some colour theory to go from there. Base layers in and some detail for the dark elf (which is a great mini and player!) and two gutter runners. Happy so far the colours are two “new and bright” but a dark wash should bring that down.

After these guys are done plenty more to do - and need to think about the rat ogre.

Also managed to fix my desk cameras better and now have a fixed downward facing camera for the painting and hobby so looking forward to more stream and hobby hangouts with friends. That’s all for today but hopefully this team will start to evolve nicely.
