Missed tabletop gaming - I know I have

So this year hasn't been the greatest for anyone doing anything with other people on a regular basis and that hits tabletop gaming clubs for me. I play with a great bunch of guys and there are a variety of games played some blood bow, 40K, Killteam, Necromunda and I'm sure there are more. I'm a big blood bowl fan and it was my Tuesday night fun a game and a bit of fun. It's been such a long time since the start of March that I can't remember the last match I had, and couldn't tell you what the development plan with my teams was.

So tonight when we heard that there might be a possibility (so not a certain) that we could get back into our venue there was a very clear excitement increase in our Whatsapp group. We've already worked through what to do with the old season (say goodbye) what to do with the rules (say hello to BB2020) but nothing about playing. So tonight was fun for sure.

And it inspired me. I'd been thinking about what I wanted to play and the changes to lizards had me excited - and I love a shadowing piece (or two). So late tonight I got started. Lizards are great as one box of the GW team (which is lovely) gets you a team especially if you can get a good Kroxigor (and I've got a Fanath one).

If you want to know more about the Lizards may I fully recommend The Bonehead Podcast for info and the roster guide for them is above. Helps that Ben is our league organiser as well!

So a bit of work in and the Krox is built and all 6 of the Saurus (even though I'll have only 4 in the opening line up). I definitely felt inspired by the thought of playing and now need to prime and paint (need a scheme as well!) - so hopefully updates soon. Enjoy the Krox below I'm looking forward to the damage he can do on the tabletop.
